Lisa's favorite life quote is, "The Happiest People in Life are Givers!"
Partners in business but more importantly life, Gene and Lisa have been married for 20 years and have two children Tanner and Gena.
The company name not only represents how they do business but a genuine way of life for this family.
Visually, Hospitality aimed to stand out, just like our quality service. So Lisa put her creativity into gear, and the result is what you see. Her inspiration? In Charleston SC, during colonial times until the late 1800's, it was common to display an iron or wood pineapple around your front door, thus becoming the symbol of hospitality - "a friendly and generous reception of guests and visitors." Our colours also symbolize the pineapple, and for our commitment to hospitality.
Along with partnering with Gene in their business, Lisa also worked as a Data Entry Coordinator for Comporium Communications in the Media Services Department.
While she too shares a love for her community which is near and dear to her heart, she also has a love for the 4 legged members of the community and elsewhere. Lisa is an active animal rights activist, giving to such associations as PETA, the Humane Society and Save the Elephants.
In Lisa's spare time she enjoys singing at various events, plays the violin, mandolin, and guitar and also enjoys learning Tap and Hip Hop.
Serving as company President, Gene opened Hospitality with Lisa, his wife, in April 2008. He received a 2-year certificate from Applied Technology Center's HVAC program and later received an Associates Degree in Applied Technology with a concentration in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration from York Technical College.
After honing his skills in the HVAC industry, he founded Hospitality Heating and Air with a couple of things mind, Customer Service, Quality Products and a deep love for his community and those in it!
Gene was born and raised in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He has played sports, lived and worked in the community his entire life. Gene gives back to the community through several programs including the Bearcat Backers Rock Hill High School Athletic Club, The Brett Ringer Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament, Sparrow Ranch and many more
There isn't another business owner that cares about their community and his customers like Gene does. Gene helped to revive High School Football Kickoff, (it was called by another name prior to now being called the Football City USA Kickoff) where at the beginning the football season the 3 Rock Hill High School Football teams start it off by playing out of area Football teams!
In 2017, Gene was awarded the CN2 Hometown Hero award in Rock Hill, SC. This award was based on citizens in the community who nominate their fellow citizens in recognition of the good they do for the community.
In Gene's, limited, spare time he enjoys fishing, watching football, travelling, music and reading about US History.
Gene welcomes you to give Hospitality Heating and Air a call!
